We provide a specialist learning disability service characterised by small, person-centred homes developed to maximise people’s independence and promote good citizenship. These core values define our approach and are as precious to us today as they were when we first opened our doors in 1993.
Each of our homes is designed to meet the needs of a specific group of individuals, defined by the characteristics and presenting needs of the first person to take up residence. We believe in doing things to a high standard and we are always seeking to improve what we do. In practical terms this means that we always strive to exceed the National Minimum Standards of Care that form the basis of the inspection and monitoring of care services.
We are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive service on the market. However, we believe that we deliver excellent value for money on the unsurpassed service we provide.
Our mission is to help people with learning disabilities transform their lives through:
We know from our own experience that learning new skills and changing old behaviour is often difficult, which is why it is essential for people to feel safe, comfortable and well supported throughout this transition. We also believe it is important for people to do things they enjoy and to have plenty of fun! For us, the quality of our clients’ lives is the most important measure of our success.
